How the West Was Won es un álbum triple en vivo de Led Zeppelin, editado por Atlantic Records el 27 de Mayo del 2003. Estas actuaciones en vivo del grupo datan del tour por Estados Unidos del año 1972, mas precisamente en el L.A. Forum on June 25, 1972 y en el Long Beach Arena on June 27, 1972.
Por muchos años, grabaciones en vivo de estos dos shows estuvieron dando vueltas como bootlegs.
El álbum debutó en el Billboard 200 el 14 de junio del 2003 en el puesto #1, vendiendo 154.000 copias en una semana y permaneció en ese chart por 16 semanas. Certificado disco de oro y platino por la RIAA el 30 de junio de ese año. Este álbum fue el primero desde 1979 con In Through the Out Door en llegar al #1.
